Let's fill!
The flat stitch is used to fill surfaces with color. It consists of making parallel stitches, very close together, that completely cover the fabric.
Bring the needle out at one end of the shape and poke it right at the opposite edge, filling the area with straight lines. Try to maintain the same tension and direction in all the stitches.
It is a very useful technique for adding volume and color to large areas of the design. Your embroidery will look richer and more expressive.
