Embroidery: Back stitch
How to do it step by step.
The backstitch is one of the basic stitches in embroidery. It is used to draw lines, outlines, and write words with precision.
To do it, bring the needle up through the right side of the fabric, take a small step forward, and then go back by piercing at the end of the previous stitch.
This creates a continuous line of stitches, firm and well-defined.
It is easy to learn and very useful for starting to embroider letters or simple shapes.
If you are taking your first steps in embroidery, the backstitch will be your great ally.
