NON WASTE Snack Bag

A small bag for snacks or the suitcase. Whatever you want.

Fabric bag

A good way to make use of the leftover fabrics is to make little bags, our weakness. They can be the size that best suits your needs and can be used to carry in your purse or suitcase. You choose the size... Are you one of those who fill the suitcase with little bags? Don't hide...

Measurements:

We propose a pattern that you can follow. If you want to make it larger or smaller, you just have to follow the proportion of the pattern to make the bag with the measurements you like best.

Instructions

Cut the fabric to the size you want for your bag. You should cut two equal pieces.

Make a mark at the top of 4.5 cm* where we will eventually pass the cord.

Make a zigzag finish all along the edge of the fabric so it doesn't fray.

Place the two fabrics, one on top of the other, with the inner sides touching. Sew the sides from the notch to the end with a 1 cm stitch. Repeat with the other side.

Sew the bottom of the bag with a stitch from end to end.

Close the two ends of the bottom of the bag, joining the front and back of the bag and making a stitch.

Pin it and make sure it fits well. This clip should give volume to your bag.

We will finish the top of the bag. Place the bag with the inner seam facing up. Fold the folds of the upper ends inward. Make a stitch so that the bag is well finished. Do the same with the seam on the other side.

Make a double hem at the top of the bag, where our cord will pass through. Fold 0.5 cm and fold again up to the notches.

Make a stitch around.

We're going to place the cord. Any ribbon can serve to close your bag. Cut two cords that measure the width of the bag, plus what we want to have left over to close it, multiplying it by two.

Pass each of the ribbons through each of the two sides, going all the way around the bag.

*Check with the pattern.
