Embroidery: Knot stitch

Give relief to your creations!

The knot stitch is ideal for creating raised details like flower centers or decorative dots. Add texture and volume with just one stitch.

Take the needle, wrap it one or two times with the thread, and poke it back in very close to the same point. Hold the thread firmly while pulling the needle to form a small knot.

With practice, you'll achieve regular and firm knots, don't get discouraged!
