Using Herringbone Tape as Piping

1. Fold the herringbone tape in half lengthwise and press it with an iron to set the fold.
2. Place the folded tape along the seam where you want to add the piping and secure it with pins to keep it from moving.
3. For greater precision, baste the herringbone tape.
4. With the tape securely in place, sew the main seam close to the edge of the tape. This will give your garment a clean and professional finish.

Tip: Avoid sewing directly over the basting line so it's easy to remove the basting later.
